What about weather?

The Brecon Beacons, beautiful and scenic yet not without it's unpredictable weather. The odd shower will not stop us from getting out but if the weather is particularly bad we will ring you and reschedule your Alpaca Trek. 90 minutes walking in wind and rain isn't fun, even with an alpaca by your side! Due to it being outdoors, weather does have an effect and cancellations are at our discretion. We want you to have an amazing and safe time with us. If we need to cancel the trek we will offer to reschedule it within the next few months to a time that suits you or if you are not going to be with us again we will be happy to issue a full refund.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry, but dogs are strictly not allowed! Alpacas get quite unnevered by dogs and it wouldn't be fair to the alpacas if a dog joined them on the trek! We want our alpacas to be happy and comfortable to ensure the best possible experience!

When should I arrive?

Visitors must arrive between 10.45 and 11.00 hrs. For safety reasons, please do not arrive before this as farm machinery will be operating and access to our farmyard for parking will not be available.
It is important that trekking groups keep together. If you arrive late, you will miss the trek.

Can I bring a buggy or a wheelchair?

The terrain is generally uneven and therefore unsuitable for buggies and wheelchairs.
